The SIL Barcelona 2024 fair, held from June 5 to 7 at the Feria de Barcelona, Montjuic, concluded successfully, with an attendance of 15,396 people. This event reaffirmed its position as the leading fair in Spain for logistics, transportation, intralogistics, and supply chain, and as an international benchmark. It received visitors from 93 countries, 90% of whom had decision-making power in the logistics activities of their companies.
The event covered thematic areas such as intralogistics, technology and Industry 4.0, sustainability, last mile, and eCommerce. Multiple sessions and congresses took place during the fair, highlighting the SIL Knowledge, which addressed topics such as sustainability, logistics and transportation, supply chain, innovation, and digitalization.
During the event, 8,733 digital contact exchanges, 3,115 meeting requests, and 12,564 messages between attendees were registered through the SIL digital platform. Networking was actively promoted, facilitating meetings between startups, investors, exhibitors, and sponsors, and it stood out for its innovation space and awards for the best startups in the sector. Furthermore, it committed to sustainability by using recyclable materials and promoting a zero-paper policy.
We also had a prominent participation in the job market at SIL Barcelona 2024. We presented various job offers, attracting highly qualified candidates from the logistics sector. We actively participated in the Job Market Place, where almost 110 candidates had job interviews. Our job offers, along with those of 11 other prominent companies, provided professionals in the sector with the opportunity to find positions suited to their skills and experiences. Additionally, through these interviews, we were able to identify and connect with exceptional talent, strengthening our team and underscoring our commitment to professional development in the logistics industry.
With extensive media coverage and numerous business opportunities, SIL Barcelona 2024 once again consolidated itself as an essential event for logistics and supply chain professionals in Europe.
