After 16 years of successful trajectory in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Nou Transport consolidates its leadership in the transportation sector with the inauguration of its first base in Vilamalla, considered the future logistics hub of the province of Girona, on August 8, 2018. This opening aligns with the company’s future vision, emphasizing efficiency, sustainability, and the well-being of its human team.
The strategic location of Nou Transport Vilamalla, just 30 kilometers from the French border, makes it a crucial hub for international transportation. Additionally, it features its own gas station, a rest area for drivers, and ample parking for 50 trucks, making it a comprehensive base for fleet management.
Nou Transport has always prioritized the well-being of its human team. Therefore, the driver’s area in the new facility has been designed to provide the best possible rest in a modern and comfortable 100m2 space, equipped with bathrooms, showers, and a resting area.
The implementation of a parking area for part of the fleet offers a combination of safety and more efficient space management. Currently, the base has 50 parking spaces, with plans for expansion in the coming year, allowing an increase in the company’s operational capacity.
The inauguration of Nou Transport Vilamalla marks a milestone in the company’s trajectory, solidifying its vision of expansion and continuous improvement of its logistics services. This new chapter, laying the foundation for a future full of successes, represents a step forward in the company’s commitment to innovation, technology, and social responsibility.
