Last Friday, we attended the ECG Conference 2024, an event filled with innovation, learning, and valuable connections, where experts and enthusiasts gathered to explore the future of finished vehicle logistics (FVL) in Europe.
The ECG Conference 2024 took place on October 24-25 in the vibrant city of Hamburg, at the Grand Elysée Hotel, a perfect location that facilitated the arrival of attendees from across Europe. This year, the conference broke all previous attendance records, with nearly 580 participants, establishing itself as the largest FVL event in Europe.
Under the theme “Driving the Future: Collaboration Moves Us Forward,” the event was a memorable and eye-opening experience. From exceptional networking opportunities to sessions led by industry leaders, each moment was designed to expand our knowledge, foster meaningful connections, and encourage us to embrace change in an ever-evolving sector.
The agenda was packed with critical topics for the future of FVL: digital transformation, sustainability, artificial intelligence applied to logistics, and new regulations for vehicle transport, among others. Several impactful talks stood out, sharing insights on the role of technology in enhancing logistical efficiency. Roundtables were also held, where leaders of key companies discussed global challenges and how to adapt to a changing and demanding market.
It was also an excellent opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops, where we explored innovative tools and strategies that are transforming the supply chain. Attendees, including decision-makers and experts from the entire industry, took advantage of this unique space to connect and collaborate in the search for joint solutions to current and future challenges in the sector.
The ECG Conference 2024 left us with a clear and optimistic vision of the opportunities ahead, reminding us that only through collaboration and adaptation can we drive the industry toward a more efficient and sustainable future.
We leave Hamburg with many new ideas and connections that inspire us to continue growing, motivated to face upcoming challenges and build the future of logistics together.
