On October 12 and 13, we had the pleasure of attending the ECG 2023 Conference at the Hangar Congress Center in Copenhagen.

ECG, the European Association of Vehicle Logistics, has been the voice of the finished vehicle logistics industry in Europe since 1997. ECG represents the interests of over 140 member companies and partners, ranging from family-owned SMEs to multinational corporations, and is the leading advocate for the European vehicle logistics sector. ECG represents all modes of transportation at the EU level: road, rail, maritime, and inland waterways. ECG members provide transportation, distribution, storage, preparation, and post-production services to manufacturers, importers, car rental companies, and vehicle leasing operators throughout the European Union, as well as in Norway, Switzerland, the UK, Turkey, and beyond. They own or operate more than 360 car carrier vessels, 15,100 specially built rail wagons, 22 inland barges, and over 23,000 road transport vehicles.

Various informative sessions were held on key topics relevant to the current moment, such as the FVL industry, strategies to reduce CO2 emissions, and different ways to improve efficiency. We had the opportunity to meet and establish new connections with various industry partners.
