Participation in the 5th Comprum Congress: innovation and reflection on the future of transport and logistics

On 25 November, we attended the 5th Comprum Congress, a benchmark event that brought together more than 160 professionals and companies from the transport and logistics sector. The event served as a valuable forum for analysis and discussion of the main challenges and opportunities shaping the evolution of the industry in an increasingly demanding and competitive environment.

Throughout the day, a wide range of topics with a strong impact on both the present and future of the sector were addressed, highlighting the need for adaptability, innovation and continuous improvement of processes.

Technology and digitalisation applied to operations

One of the main themes of the congress was the role of technology applied to transport and logistics operations. Various tools aimed at improving efficiency, optimising routes, reducing operating costs and increasing real-time process visibility were discussed.

Digitalisation was presented as a key factor in improving decision-making, anticipating incidents and delivering better customer service, particularly in an environment where agility and traceability are becoming increasingly decisive.

Artificial intelligence in decision-making

Another key topic was the integration of artificial intelligence into management and planning processes. The presentations showcased practical examples where algorithms and predictive models are used to analyse large volumes of data, identify patterns and support both strategic and operational decision-making.

Artificial intelligence was highlighted as a powerful tool for improving efficiency, optimising resources and strengthening competitiveness within the sector, always supported by proper data management and human expertise.

Cybersecurity: a growing challenge for the sector

Cybersecurity was another major focus of discussion. The increasing digitalisation of systems and the interconnection between platforms make information and operational security a critical issue.

The sessions emphasised the importance of having appropriate protocols, specialised training and a clear strategy to prevent risks, protect sensitive data and ensure operational continuity in the event of potential incidents.

Corporate operations as a driver of growth

The congress also addressed the role of corporate operations, such as mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships, as a means of business growth and consolidation. The challenges associated with these processes were analysed, along with the importance of careful planning, effective integration and change management to ensure long-term success.

This approach highlighted how company scale, specialisation and collaboration can become key factors in addressing the current challenges facing the sector.

A space for sharing experiences

Beyond the technical content, the congress provided an ideal setting for the exchange of experiences and perspectives among professionals. Conversations held throughout the day made it possible to compare different realities, learn about various management approaches and understand how other organisations are responding to the changes affecting transport and logistics on a daily basis.

This direct interaction added significant value to the event, reinforcing the importance of such forums as drivers of learning and collaboration within the industry.

Closing of the event

The day concluded with a closing session in a more relaxed and dynamic atmosphere, providing a fitting end to an intensive programme of content and reflection.
